Project Assistant at Stockholm Water and Waste

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will belong to the Collection unit at Stockholm Water and Waste, which is responsible for the efficient collection of the residents' waste. They work to ensure that the collection is carried out in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective manner. They are facing a major change where they will implement a new collection system for all homeowners in the City of Stockholm, where you as a project assistant will become part of this important project.

This is a long-term consulting assignment where you will be employed as a consultant by Academic Work and work on behalf of Stockholm Water and Waste.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a project assistant in the collection, you will play a central role in the implementation of the new collection system. You will be based at the headquarters in Ulvsunda where you will be assigned various tasks from the project manager with whom you will closely collaborate. This may include compiling collected information, preparing documentation and reports, and collaborating with the project group, the collection unit, and customer service.

Periodically, you will also work in the field, where you will visit different areas such as townhouse/villa areas in the City of Stockholm and inventory, collect demographic information, map existing collection systems, document and report collected data, and communicate with both citizens and contractors.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has good documentation skills.
  • Is an experienced user of MS Office.
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing as documentation and communication occur daily in Swedish.
  • Has a B driver's license.

It is strongly meritorious if you have:

  • Background/experience in waste and/or collection systems.
