About the role

As an accountant at GodEl, you will also work with accounting in other companies in the group, which includes sister companies, the holding company, and the GoodCause foundation. You will ensure that our financial processes are efficient, accurate, and in line with good accounting practices. The role involves independent responsibility for ongoing accounting and reporting, as well as active participation in improvement work and optimization of our financial routines. The position reports directly to the CFO, and opportunities for hybrid work are available.

Your responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting and reporting
• Monthly and annual closing work and reconciliations
• Main responsibility for payroll and expense management
• VAT and employer contributions
• Participate in pricing work during monthly invoicing
• Ensure correct accruals and documentation
• Support accounts receivable functions and close collaboration with Back-office on financial matters
• Be responsible for follow-up and collaboration with our collection partner
• Actively participate in improvement work to streamline processes and routines

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a family-like and supportive work culture, while also being meticulous and responsible. You should have a good understanding of accounting principles according to the K3 regulations and experience working with financial statements. As a person, we would like you to be communicative and enjoy sharing knowledge and developing together.

Your background:

• Academic degree in economics or a vocational education with a focus on accounting
• At least 2 years of experience in qualified accounting work, preferably from a consultancy environment or medium-sized company
• Good knowledge of ERP systems and Excel
• Ability to interpret accounting rules and drive improvement work
