About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Economist for a mission consisting of two parts. One part involves being responsible for the organization’s accounting by preparing documentation for payments, creating invoicing materials, and periodically reconciling the organization’s accounts, among other tasks.

The second part is to support the heads of the administrative law department in their work with budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasts. The balance between the two parts will vary throughout the year and will also depend on how the parts develop during the contract period.

The position is located in the Process Unit, but the work is carried out across the entire department and in close collaboration with the Finance and Administration Department, which consists of a CFO and Deputy CEO, four economists, two financial administrators, one controller, and two procurement officers, as well as the IT unit and the office services unit.

Contract Period and Scope:

The position as Accounting Economist is a full-time consulting assignment starting from June 16, 2025, to December 15, 2025, with the possibility of extension for up to 6 months.

Requirements for the Position:

University degree in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in similar roles. Alternatively, high school or equivalent education and five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. A high digital maturity is necessary for the consultant to carry out the assignment.
Good knowledge of Unit4 ERP.
Experience in governmental accounting.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Good knowledge means being able to understand information and communicate effectively within the job tasks.
Ability to provide one (1) reference assignment that corresponds to the requested role.

Desirable Qualifications:

At least three years of experience with Unit4 ERP.
Experience working with the collection system Aptic Collect.
At least three years of routine work experience in Excel.
Current experience working with Skype and Teams.

As a person, you are responsible, quality-conscious, structured, and possess good digital skills. We work in various constellations within the unit(s), so it is important that you can work both independently and in a team and collaborate with different units or projects. You have good communication skills.
