Description

We are looking for another star to join our group and meeting booking team.

You are engaged, commercially driven, curious, and have an easy time connecting with both bookers and contract contacts as well as your colleagues. We would like you to have previous experience in both booking and pricing of meetings and accommodations.

Responsibilities

The position primarily focuses on booking and detailed planning of groups, meetings, and events. Conducting tours for upcoming events is a natural part of your job, as well as clearly communicating to all hotel departments what has been agreed upon with the customer.

• Detailed planning of larger and smaller events
• Responding to group and meeting inquiries and compiling and sending out quotes
• Managing your own events and meetings
• Entering room lists into our hotel booking system and creating floor plans based on customer requests
• Contributing to good cooperation with other departments and being the spider in the web between reception, conference, restaurant, and kitchen.
• Administrative tasks and providing support in operations
• Compiling statistics and sales
• Invoicing
• Continuously working on upselling

Who are you?

• Previous experience in booking accommodation groups, meetings, and events
• Sales-oriented with a strong interest in creating contacts with bookers and contract signers as well as upselling.
• Engaged, outgoing, and social, and skilled in communication.
• Have a clear administrative talent and can work accurately, structured, and efficiently even when the pace is high and there are many different tasks
• Knowledge of the booking system Event Temple and/or hotel data system MEWS is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
