Business Unit Buyer

We are looking for a business unit buyer who is driven to create value through strategic purchasing and change management!

We seek a business unit buyer with experience in implementing and developing suppliers as well as driving change initiatives to create added value for both the company and our customers. In this role, you will have significant responsibility for shaping and driving purchasing strategies that create added value for both the company and its customers. Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Establish, drive, and follow up on a strategic purchasing plan in line with overall goals and KPIs.
• Maintain close dialogue with stakeholders within the business unit.
• Participate in development projects and improvement of procurement processes and tools.
• Drive the implementation of suppliers and contracts and follow up on supplier performance.
• Support category managers to ensure that procurements and category strategies meet the business unit's needs.
• Assist business unit managers by driving customer-specific procurements.

This position is a consultancy role, which means you will initially be employed by StudentConsulting but will work alongside our client. The position is expected to start immediately and is a long-term need.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and at least 3 years of experience in strategic purchasing or similar.
• Experience with Excel is an advantage.
• The position requires fluency in Swedish and English, and travel within Sweden may occur.
