Accounting Specialist in Treasury

We are now looking for an engaged accounting specialist with a focus on Treasury operations. Here you will have the opportunity to work with complex financial relationships in a dynamic and developing environment.

Your Team

This is a department of 25 people working with accounting and controlling related to areas such as interest trading, equities, commodities, as well as borrowing and lending, which are central parts of Treasury and Markets. The work involves managing and reporting financial transactions and risk situations that affect capital and liquidity.

In this role, you will work closely with Treasury and have broad contact points within the organization, providing opportunities to collaborate with various functions. The environment is complex and dynamic, and you will gradually build your understanding with support from the team. They are a mix of employees with long experience and newer colleagues, creating a good balance between knowledge and new perspectives.

Your Role

Your tasks include:
✔️ Monthly closing and controlling of Treasury operations
✔️ Analysis of financial instruments, monitoring of borrowing and derivatives trading
✔️ Understanding and managing accounting flows between different IT systems
✔️ Supporting Treasury in matters related to accounting, controlling, and reporting
✔️ Participating in development projects and developing accounting models

Your Profile

They are looking for someone who has:
🎓 An academic degree in finance or equivalent
📊 Experience in accounting and closing work, preferably related to financial instruments
🏦 Background in finance department or auditing, with a focus on accounting
💻 Basic understanding of accounting flows and IT systems
📈 Experience from Treasury, finance department, or a larger organization is an advantage

As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and thrive in an environment where you work with numbers and processes. You are solution-oriented and see opportunities for improvements in work methods and routines. Since the role involves collaboration with different functions, it is important that you are communicative and have an easy time collaborating.

Good knowledge of Excel and other Office tools is an advantage. If you also have an interest in digital tools and systems, that’s a plus!
