Real Estate Law Specialist

It is on behalf of the government that the National Property Board manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a diversity of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country’s area consisting of forests and land.

As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state’s value foundation, and contribute to positive societal development.

In the Real Estate Law unit, we have exciting and interesting tasks with the entire Land Code as our field of work. We are a great team of about 20 employees who support each other and benefit from our different competencies primarily in general and special real estate law, community building, and property economics. We are centrally located in Stockholm and at a few other SFV offices across the country.

The unit supports SFV’s managers and property areas with real estate legal questions and is responsible for the agency’s disposals and acquisitions. We represent SFV in real estate legal matters before authorities and courts and are also responsible for monitoring the rental market, handling planning referrals, and coordinating external infrastructure projects.

Your Role

You will work with case management in the purchase and sale of real property. In this role, you will also conduct real estate legal investigations, manage land lease agreements, easements, land survey proceedings, and process development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • relevant university education with a focus on law or equivalent,
  • experience working with real estate legal issues within land surveying and/or property sales, and
  • very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • experience working with real estate legal issues within a government agency, and
  • a B driver's license.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in this role, you have a structured working method, are analytical, and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are confident and accustomed to handling cases with many interests.

More Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment. SFV applies a 6-month probationary period.

For more information about the position, you are welcome to call the recruiting manager Jon Granstedt at +46 10-478 70 53.

Union representatives for Saco, Seko, and OFR/S can be reached via our switchboard at +46 10-478 70 00. More information about SFV can be found at www.sfv.se (http://www.sfv.se).

Before a decision on employment is made, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted. If the employment concerns a position in a security class, the security check will also include a background check, and in some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.

The National Property Board operates in sectors exposed to various risks of irregularities; therefore, there are positions where suitability assessments are conducted as a preventive measure.

The application deadline is 2025-04-03, and we look forward to your application and CV.
