About the role

As CFO, you will play a central role in leading and developing the financial governance of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and be an important partner during a transformation phase. This involves both operational and strategic responsibilities, where you will be a driving force in optimizing the company's financial processes and strengthening relationships with various stakeholders.

Initially, you will work as a consultant through Vindex, with the possibility of transitioning to an employment with the client, provided that there is a good collaboration.

Location: Stockholm City

Main responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the company's finances
• Responsible for collaboration with external accounting firms as the accounting is outsourced
• Monthly reporting, cash flow planning, liquidity forecasts, and board materials
• Streamline daily routines and optimize and develop system support
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations as well as reporting standards
• Responsible for annual reports and contact with auditors
• Manage and optimize the company's tax structure and tax planning
• Conduct and analyze financial data to support business decisions, identify areas for improvement, and optimize the company's financial results
• Evaluate and propose financial and operational improvements that can maximize profitability

Qualifications

• Academic education in finance or equivalent relevant education.
• At least 5 years of experience in relevant finance roles, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Solid experience and knowledge in financial management and controlling, good knowledge in accounting
• Experience working directly with the CEO and board

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in finance, who is ready to take the next step in their career. Your background in both accounting and business control or as a CFO for a smaller company makes you feel confident in your knowledge and competence. You are structured, analytical, business- and results-oriented, and comfortable making decisions under tight deadlines.

You are self-driven and thrive in an operational environment where you take responsibility for both small and large parts of the process. You demonstrate a clear ability to drive processes forward and are not afraid to take initiative and contribute your own ideas.
