Sportmarket was founded in 1988 in Hudiksvall by Göran Nilsson, Örjan Olsson, and Håkan Barret. Kombi was one of the first brands that Sportmarket began to distribute and still does today. Since then, many strong brands have been added, such as Fischer, Start, TOPO, Outdoor Research, Kamik, AKU, and Skogstad. From starting as a three-person company, the business has grown and today has about 30 employees. The head office is located in Stockholm, with a logistics center/warehouse in Hudiksvall. In addition, there is a sales office in Gothenburg.

Since 1988, Sportmarket has had a passion for the best products and brands in Sport & Outdoor. We are now looking for a new team member for our Customer Support team – a person who has both a strong sense of order and a burning interest in the outdoor lifestyle.
In this role, you will combine your ability to manage order flows and customer service with your passion for alpine sports, sports, and outdoor lifestyle. This means that one day you ensure that orders flow smoothly and customers receive the best possible service, and the next day you pack your bag for a fair, an event, or a ski test in the mountains.
About the role
As Customer Support with us, you are the spider in the web for order management and customer service. You are an important part of our operations department and responsible for ensuring that our retailers receive quick and professional support regarding orders, deliveries, and product inquiries. You will also be an important representative for our brands at fairs, customer events, and industry meetings.
Your main responsibilities:
- Sales support via email and phone to our B2B & D2C customers
- Order management for our B2B customers
- Order confirmations and delivery follow-ups
- Communication with our retailers regarding product inquiries
- Development and optimization of the order flow together with the operations team
- Handling of complaints and returns
- Participation in fairs, ski tests, and other industry events
We work in systems such as B24, EDI, Gung, Garp, QlikView, and MS Office.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where structure and efficiency are the keys to success. You have a natural ability to create order, keep track of details, and ensure that everything runs smoothly. At the same time, you are passionate about the outdoor lifestyle and love being part of the industry – whether it’s skiing, trail running, or outdoor lifestyle.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- ✅ Are a person who likes to have structure and order around you
- ✅ Have experience in order management, customer service, or similar
- ✅ Are solution-oriented and can prioritize when needed
- ✅ Have a strong sense of service and enjoy helping others
- ✅ Have good knowledge of Swedish and English
- ✅ Have experience with Excel and preferably business systems like Garp (meriting)
A background in sports retail and/or e-commerce is a big plus, as is previous experience in a role where you have had many contact points.
