About the Position

PRI Pensionsgaranti is now strengthening its finance department with a Senior Business Controller. The position is under development, and you will be involved in shaping and developing the content of the role. You will be part of a pleasant and unpretentious team of 10 employees where you will be an important cog. You report directly to the CFO.

As a Senior Business Controller, you will support management with analyses and follow-ups of results, business, and projects. You will compile financial reports and analyses to ensure that the company's financial strategies and goals align with overall business strategies. In the role of Senior Business Controller, you will collaborate with other departments to support business development and cost-effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain and develop reporting structures to enable efficient and accurate reporting to management and other stakeholders.
Be responsible for financial management, follow-up, calculations, and operational analyses.
Support the business and management with decision-making materials.
Plan and execute the budgeting and forecasting process.
Analyze revenue and cost deviations, sales data, key figures, and other data.
Develop and implement financial strategies and guidelines.
Continuously contribute to the development of routines and processes.
Independently seek relevant information to perform work in the best possible way.
Continuously increase potential improvements, efficiencies, and quality.
Support colleagues within the finance department as needed.

The position is located in modern premises on Regeringsgatan in central Stockholm.

Suitable Background

You have a relevant academic degree and at least five years of experience as a Business Controller. You are an experienced system user and have very good skills in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as being fluent in both spoken and written Swedish. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of accounting and regulatory issues. It is an advantage if you have experience in accounting for financial instruments, insurance accounting, and if you have previous experience with system changes. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 BC and/or Mercur is a plus.

You are used to working independently and thrive when you can help create structure and processes rather than everything being in place. You likely have previous experience from smaller companies and understand the advantages and challenges this entails. You are analytical, confident in your skills, and enjoy working both strategically and operationally. Since the role involves many different contact points at various levels within the organization, it is important that you are communicative, enjoy presenting and explaining your work to others, and have an easy time collaborating.
