HDI Global Specialty SE is looking for an experienced and analytical Claims Controller who wants to contribute to safe and efficient claims management. We are looking for someone with at least 3–5 years of experience in claims handling, preferably within property and liability insurance, and a strong ability to interpret and analyze insurance terms.

About the role As a Claims Controller, you will be part of our claims team and be responsible for reviewing and approving reserves, claims payments, and decisions in claims cases handled by our insurance agencies. You will ensure that our partners comply with applicable insurance terms, regulations, and internal procedures. Furthermore, you will analyze claims reports to monitor the development of claims inventory.

The position offers a wide variety of claims cases with different levels of challenges, making the job both dynamic and developmental. The role also includes administrative tasks, such as working in our web-based systems for claims and document management, as well as using Excel in daily work.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues, insurance agencies, and external parties, and actively contribute to developing and improving our claims management processes.

Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in claims handling, preferably within property and liability insurance.
• The ability to interpret and analyze insurance terms and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• A legal education is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and meticulous. You enjoy working independently and take great responsibility. At the same time, you are communicative and like to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
