Ribbyskolan is looking for committed leisure educators/teachers for after-school care who want to help drive development, with the opportunity for a lead teacher position.

Ribbyskolan is currently a K-9 school with approximately 900 students and around 100 staff. We have a pleasant school with a good environment and a motivated staff who are eager to teach, develop, and support their students. We have good technical standards, working with SMART Boards and digital tools one-to-one, and we explore new methods to enhance learning.

We are looking for someone who has a degree in leisure education/teaching for after-school care and wants to help drive our after-school program. You will also have the opportunity to apply for a lead teacher position on a two-year contract focusing on the development of after-school activities to support increased goal fulfillment and meaningful activities. This requires at least four years of well-documented teaching experience within one or more positions in the education sector.

You must be well-acquainted with our governing documents and have a strong pedagogical drive to further develop the program and view new ideas as positive challenges. Based on Chapter 4 of the Lgr 22 for after-school care, you will be responsible for planning and conducting education in after-school care together with your colleagues. As after-school staff, you will support students' development and learning and offer meaningful leisure activities.

In after-school care, we work with learning during both free and structured activities. During the school day, after-school staff are present in classes and collaborate with teachers regarding the students. After-school care represents much of the creative aspect of the work. We want you to be involved in creating an environment and program based on the child's/student's interests and to be responsive to individual needs. You will build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

• are clear and stable in your leadership role and have a strong interest in driving our after-school program forward
• have good computer skills as we use IT in the school
• can express yourself well both verbally and in writing
• have experience and references from working in after-school care in schools
