Do you want to work in direct social work by supporting individuals with disabilities in their development? We are now looking for a coach for daily activities in Stockholm (southern suburbs). We offer training and several benefits.

About the role The job involves supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychiatric disorders in their development. At Nytida's daily activities, we have a primary focus; the individual.

The fact that the activities are individually designed is paramount. We start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all, resources. Therefore, the activities vary from person to person. It can involve developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and talk about everything that is life. Your tasks include leading and facilitating activities, welcoming our participants when they arrive at the facility, documenting, and collaborating with other stakeholders as needed. You have a unit manager close to you who works part of their time in the operations. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Here, we work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge You have a high school education in healthcare and social services, for example as a nursing assistant, preschool teacher, or similar. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible, and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our participants' best interests in mind in everything you do.
