About ProCivitas Private High School

ProCivitas started its first school in Helsingborg in 1997. Today, ProCivitas has schools in Helsingborg, Växjö, Lund, Malmö, Karlberg, Stockholm, and Uppsala. For over 25 years, ProCivitas has operated with high ambitions for both staff and students, with a clear connection to the business community and the world of research. Today, ProCivitas employs approximately 300 staff and has around 3500 students across all its operations. ProCivitas offers the following programs: the economics program, the natural sciences program, and the social sciences program.

About ProCivitas Helsingborg

ProCivitas Helsingborg is a school with 750 students, of which 320 are enrolled in the natural sciences program. The school started in 1997, and the natural sciences program has been offered since 2008. The school is located in central Helsingborg, about a 3-minute walk from Helsingborg C, and we have a nice school environment with well-equipped laboratories and plenty of modern equipment that provides great opportunities for interesting and in-depth experiments and lab work. Since its inception, the school has been characterized by a strong desire to develop and constantly inspire and motivate our students to deepen and extend their knowledge, and this is a focus we nurture and continuously work towards together. Your mission

The position is full-time and involves teaching chemistry and biology. You will closely collaborate with our other chemistry and biology teachers and together with them further develop a well-functioning chemistry/biology teaching program. All laboratory work is conducted in well-equipped laboratories and always in half classes. There is an open and good collaborative climate where we share materials and insights with each other and support one another in the goal of providing students with the best possible education.

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach chemistry and biology at the high school level, with experience in high school teaching. You have good pedagogical skills and can inspire and engage students by adapting your teaching to their individual needs. You have a natural ability to build trust and good relationships with students. You value close collaboration with colleagues and are receptive to others' knowledge and experiences.
