About the School Area

The Rebbelberga school area is a meeting place for learning aimed at children in grades F-6. Here, it is fun to learn new things, and learning has a lifelong perspective. Our work has a clear focus on the fact that learning develops when one feels joy and community. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a qualified craft teacher who wants to help develop Rebbelberga school in these areas. You find joy in meeting students based on all their differences, personalities, and abilities and want to challenge them to develop. You will be part of a development-oriented team that continuously works for a collaborative culture. For us, it is important to offer students an activity that attracts and challenges learning and curiosity. We enable this by having knowledgeable, responsible, and flexible educators who listen to students and offer varied learning situations based on their levels and interests. It is of utmost importance that you create trusting relationships and are present in your role. You have experience in pedagogical work and a good ability to lead and motivate students as well as create a sense of security in the classroom.

The main job responsibilities are to:

  • Plan and implement teaching in wood and metal crafts for students in different grades.
  • Develop and adapt teaching materials and projects to meet students' individual needs and interests.
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating working environment in the craft room.
  • Assess and document students' progress and achievements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in the school's development work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a teaching license with authorization to teach wood and metal crafts.
  • Has experience teaching wood and metal crafts in primary school.
  • Is creative, engaged, and has the ability to inspire students.
  • Has good knowledge of safety regulations and working environment in the craft subject.
  • Takes clear leadership in the classroom.
  • Is flexible and has good collaboration skills.
  • Successfully drives development work and easily engages colleagues.
  • Has high expectations for your students and their competencies.
  • Sees opportunities and is solution-focused.
  • Views systematic quality work as part of everyday life.
