Job Responsibilities

At Malmö Citadellsgymnasium, we are looking for four vocational teachers for teaching in sales and service. As a vocational teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their conditions, preparing them for their upcoming professional roles. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Vocational teacher education with authorization to teach in core courses in the sales and service program, or a higher education degree (at least 180 credits) that the employer deems relevant
Several years of professional experience in sales and service
Very good subject knowledge
Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
Very good Swedish in spoken and written form

Meritorious:

Experience in teaching or educational work
Authorization to teach in multiple subjects

We are looking for someone who is confident in the vocational teacher role and creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt teaching to the student's and group's conditions and prior knowledge through a creative approach and a very good pedagogical ability. Your working method is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and sensitively with your surroundings.
