Sätoftaskolan is a F-9 school with an associated after-school program. The school also houses the municipality's adapted primary school 1-9. The school is beautifully situated near lakes and forests with an inspiring outdoor environment. It is possible to reach the school by public transport.

About 500 students attend the school. The school has a principal and two assistant principals. The staff is divided into various teams and learning groups led by the school's team leaders/lead teachers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a lead teacher with a degree as a special teacher with a focus on IF. You are a skilled teacher who is used to meeting a student group with diverse needs. You are a good communicator and easily use visual support, TAKK, AAC, and other communication methods and tools in your work with the students. You focus on the students' learning and are solution-oriented. You are accustomed to working in teams with student resources and are not afraid to try new methods, seeing each day as a new opportunity for success for your students.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have experience working with students with IF and meeting students in adapted primary school. You are solution-oriented and find solutions for communication pathways with all students.

The position requires that you:

  • have a special teacher degree with a focus on IF
  • are a good organizer and lead the team in a clear and experience-based manner.
  • have the ability to build good and sustainable relationships with both students, staff, and guardians.
  • have good knowledge of differentiated teaching and accessible learning environments
  • have good knowledge of and experience working with students with various types of vulnerabilities in learning processes.
  • want and can take responsibility for both your own work and the school-wide development work.
