We at Malmö Citadellsgymnasium are looking for several teachers to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, psychology, English, law, economics, social studies, natural science, mathematics, and physical education. Join us and contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society.

Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their circumstances. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, and evaluation and development of the educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Qualification to teach in at least two of the following subjects: Swedish, Swedish as a second language, psychology, English, law, economics, social studies, natural science, mathematics, and physical education at the high school level
• Very good subject knowledge
• Good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience teaching in one or more of the following subjects: Swedish, Swedish as a second language, psychology, English, law, economics, social studies, natural science, mathematics, and physical education
• Experience in other teaching or educational work
• Qualification to teach other subjects at the high school level

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and who creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt teaching to the student's and group's circumstances and prior knowledge through a creative approach and very good pedagogical ability. Your working method is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks efficiently. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings.
