Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is easy to laugh, has a twinkle in their eye, is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a female client in her mid-20s living in central Lidköping
• has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with EP
• is a good swimmer and tolerates pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• have good physical fitness and are interested in training
• share the client's interests such as swimming, bowling, singing, and enjoy having coffee in town

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position of about 90% during weeks 25-32. Most of the time involves double assistance, every other weekend, with working hours scheduled during the day and evening, shifts varying between 6-12 hours from about 8 AM to 10 PM. The client has awake nights primarily staffed by regular personnel during the summer. You need to be able to start the introduction in April and also work extra occasionally per week until week 25.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
