Music Teacher Wanted for 80% Position

We are currently seeking a music teacher for an 80% position, divided between Svarträvens School (primary school) and Gränsälvsgymnasiet.

The schools in Övertorneå municipality are among the best in the country according to surveys, and we offer education of the highest quality - from preschool to adult education. All students in preschool, primary school, and high school have their own iPads or computers, and our facilities are equipped with digital teaching tools. We place great importance on IT skills and experience working with digital learning platforms. We have high expectations for both students and staff.

About You:

We are looking for someone qualified to teach music. You should have good pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. You are flexible, open, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. We value your commitment, responsibility, and professional competence and expect you to actively work for collaboration with other teachers in our operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Mainly classroom teaching in music. This can be combined with other subjects and positions available within the education administration and can be supplemented to full-time depending on the applicant's qualifications.

Scope:

The position is permanent at 80%. Start date is August 13, 2025.
