Luleå Gymnasieby is a campus area that gathers most municipal upper secondary education programs with about 2400 students. The campus area is centrally located with proximity to the Culture House, which houses the city library and art hall, Norrbotten Museum, Luleå City Park, the outdoor area Gültzaudden with summer and winter activities, and the city center shopping. It is easy to get to and from the high school area with Luleå local traffic or Länstrafiken.

We are now looking for a vocational teacher who wants to be part of the continued development of the Child and Leisure Program at the Örnen block in Luleå! At the school unit, students who are elite athletes are enrolled in RIG, NIU, or LIU education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach courses in pedagogy and vocational subjects within the Child and Leisure Program. The work also includes collaboration with industry councils, APL placements, and mentorship. In addition to teaching, collaboration with the program team and student health is expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified and licensed vocational teacher for the Child and Leisure Program as well as pedagogy. Attach your diploma and teaching license with your application. We view positively if you have qualifications in additional subjects, such as psychology.

This job suits you if you have good collaboration skills and the ability to structure and organize. You should also enjoy being the spider in the web. The position requires that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

If you become a candidate for the position, you will need to present a valid extract from the criminal record.

Start date: 2025-08-13 or by agreement.
