The adapted primary school in Pajala is looking for a special educator or special teacher starting June 1, 2025, or by agreement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator/special teacher with us, you will:

• Develop and implement individual education plans for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with other staff, parents, and other specialists to ensure a holistic view of the student's development.
• Use various pedagogical methods and tools to adapt teaching to each student's needs.
• Participate in regular meetings, supervision, and professional development to stay updated in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Certified special educator, special teacher, primary school teacher, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach.
• The ability to create a safe and inspiring learning environment.
• Personal suitability is important.

If a qualified teacher is not available as an applicant, an unqualified person may be considered for a temporary position. In that case, a high school diploma is required.
