Tjautjas School is a F-3 school located in the village of Tjautjasjaure, about 30 km, or 30 minutes from the town of Gällivare. The school's teaching is conducted in B-form due to the small number of students. The atmosphere at the school is characterized by care and closeness, and the work is always based on the best interests of the students. The school has a calm and safe atmosphere. We place great emphasis on pedagogical development, and in the coming school year, participation, collaboration, and quality development will be the focus of our development work.

Job Responsibilities

The main tasks consist of teaching, planning, and mapping in the preschool class. You will collaborate with other educators. You will manage daily contact with students, colleagues, and guardians. You will actively participate in the school's joint development work together with colleagues both within and outside your own school. You will also participate in teaching at the after-school center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for the earlier years of primary school F-3 or a licensed preschool teacher and who wants to work in a smaller unit, in a calm atmosphere! We believe that you are positive, create engagement, participation, and consider each student's needs. As a person, you are attentive and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. In your work with students, you are clear in your leadership. We also believe that you are innovative and interested in school development, and we place great value on the ability to collaborate and cooperate. Personal suitability is highly valued.

An extract from the police criminal record is required.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an asset when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent, part-time 60%, the position may be converted to 100% if necessary decisions are made. A probationary period may apply.
