Ersnäs Preschool is located 25 kilometers south of Luleå, in a residential area within walking distance to forests, meadows, and Ersnässkolan. We have a nice outdoor and indoor environment that invites play and learning. Our working methods are characterized by joy, community, and collaboration. We see each individual child and plan, implement, and evaluate education based on the interests and conditions of each child. The planning is based on the preschool's governing documents. We place great importance on all children feeling a sense of belonging and the community that comes with it.

Our preschool consists of two departments where we have close cooperation between the departments. Thanks to this collaboration, we can focus on the best interests of the children and create security.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You should be able to work independently and responsibly based on the preschool teacher's assignment. Together with colleagues, work on the development of the preschool's learning environments, based on the goals and intentions of the curriculum. You should be well acquainted with the governing documents that you connect to children's learning and our education, through teaching and, among other things, pedagogical documentation, reflections, and based on scientific theories. You should be curious and knowledgeable about children's learning and be interested in keeping yourself updated on topics related to children's development and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university education with the qualification to work in preschool for ages 1-5. You should also have a license as a preschool teacher. You have knowledge of pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work linked to scientific foundations and theories.

You should have good social collaboration skills and be flexible. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are currently studying and will graduate by summer, you are also welcome to apply for the position, initially on a school law employment pending your license.

If you are shortlisted for the position, you will need to provide a valid extract from the criminal record.
