Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality!

The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and fulfills tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, high schools, and adapted high schools.

Fagernäs School is a primary school with about 150 students from preschool class up to grade 6. The school, built in 1953, is located about 2 km from Boden's center.

The school has two after-school departments, Örtagården and Solgården. A high percentage of the school's students have after-school placements. In our large schoolyard, there are places for play and activity. We have play structures, a football field (grass and gravel), a basketball court, a gagarink, and large beautiful open areas for play and movement. In winter, there is a flooded ice rink, drawn ski trails, and large snow hills. In the surrounding area, there are natural areas suitable for excursions and outdoor activities year-round.

At Fagernäs School, we are exploratory, value-creating, and interactive. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us at Fagernäs School and teach in grades 1-5. You will act as a mentor and teach in grade 5 in the subjects of Swedish, social studies, art, and music. You will also be responsible for physical education in grades 1 and 3 and teach art in grades 1-3.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for primary school. We would like you to have qualifications and/or knowledge, interest in teaching the subjects of Swedish, social studies, English, and music in grade 5, as well as practical aesthetic subjects such as art and physical education in lower grades.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are self-driven, responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You see opportunities in each student's individual development and have the ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are cheerful, pleasant, and positive. You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Please attach your teaching license or diploma. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
