Ringelskolan is a school for grades 4-6 located in central Arvidsjaur. In addition to primary school, adapted primary school is also conducted. The school is close to a swimming hall, sports hall, and ice rink and is within walking distance to the community. The school is situated in a scenic area, inviting outdoor activities.

We are now looking for two employees to start in the autumn term of 2025! One position is a temporary position, and the other is a specific fixed-term employment.

Job Description

As a student assistant, you will work specifically with individual students but will also provide support in the student group. You will follow the student throughout the school day, both in teaching situations and during breaks, and support them to ensure that the school day is conducted in a safe manner. You will be available but will not intervene unnecessarily, allowing the student the opportunity to solve situations on their own when possible.

You will create a close relationship with the student to provide security in their schooling while maintaining professional distance. You will have a low-arousal approach and be clear in your communication. You will collaborate with teachers, student health, and other relevant staff with the student's best interests in focus. As a person, you are flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

You have completed the Child and Recreation program or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to interpret signals and stay one step ahead. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Upon employment, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap 31§).
