Hedens School

Hedens School is a primary school with about 260 students from preschool class up to year 6. The school is located 6 km from central Boden, beautifully situated in Heden next to a small forest that is frequently used by the school. At the school, there are two classes in each grade and two after-school care departments. For many years, the school has designed and upgraded the working environment for both students and educators. The focus has been on creating spaces within spaces, so that the working environment can function as an extra educator for the students, be easy to change, and at the same time increase the joy of work for both students and educators. The outdoor environment, the well-sized schoolyard, is also under constant development. The school has a well-functioning break activity with activities for the students.

We want to give our students the courage and competence to meet the opportunities and challenges of the future. We believe that one learns from and with each other, in different situations and environments, and that social interaction is an important piece of the puzzle in learning. At the school, there is collegial learning where we utilize and share knowledge and experiences with each other. We actively work to engage with current research and development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for someone to teach grades F-3 at Hedens School.

Your daily work includes planning lessons, assessing and documenting students' development, and providing feedback on students' knowledge development to students and guardians. You will be part of a team with other teachers, leisure educators, and special educators.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a teaching degree with qualifications to teach in the early years of primary school.

You are interested in collegial learning and school development, have good knowledge and a burning interest in your subjects. You help students develop and succeed. You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents.

We are looking for you who are self-driven, responsible, have good collaboration skills, and see opportunities in each student's individual development. You have the ability to create and maintain professional and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have high communicative and interactive skills, are socially perceptive, and have a high motivation for the teaching profession. You also have the ability for self-reflection and analysis.
