Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality!

The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues concerning our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, and adapted secondary school.

Prästholm School is a centrally located F-6 school. Integrated into the school is also the municipality's adapted primary school 1-6. The school's student population is about 300 students. We have three after-school care departments where children receive instruction before and after the school day. We have parallel classes in each grade with comparatively high staff density. The school is organized into work teams: F-3, 4-6, adapted primary school 1-6, and after-school care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

If you are a person who wants to make a difference, then being a special education teacher at Prästholm School is your choice. In this role, you will work together with a special educator and our entire student health team to create conditions for participation, accessibility, and inclusion for our students.

You are a qualified conversation partner in matters concerning children's and students' language and mathematics development. By analyzing students' results and mapping the school environment, you identify barriers and opportunities, and propose measures that support students' development, both at the group and individual levels. Your assignment includes both pedagogical and student-focused work, where you guide, coach, and support teachers both in the classroom and individually, while also working directly with the students.

You create relationships both internally and externally characterized by mutual respect and trust, and you meet students and guardians where they are.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified special education teacher, you are collaborative, see the whole in the common mission, and are also independent and have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without being dependent on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward.

OTHER

Please attach your teaching license or diploma. A criminal record extract must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
