We are looking for someone who wants to work with adult students and help them take the next step in their careers by obtaining vocational training. The adult education program is part of a collaboration within Southern Norrbotten and therefore has a geographically broad catchment area for our vocational training. We offer vocational packages in the following areas: passenger car mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, service technicians.

The right person for this assignment will be given good opportunities to influence and shape both their own role and the structure and content of the educational activities. Dialogue and collaboration with the industry will be an important and fundamental part.

As a vocational teacher in adult education, you will meet students at various stages of working life and life. For those who enjoy meeting people in development, teaching adult students is a varied and stimulating assignment. We see it as natural to welcome everyone to adult education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in vehicle technology, you, along with colleagues, are responsible for educating the future vehicle technicians. It is a varied job that involves planning and conducting theory lessons that alternate with practical moments in our well-equipped workshop. The job includes securing APL placements for students and following up on students' learning both in school and in workplaces. Together with colleagues, you contribute to the development of our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a vocational teacher certification and extensive experience from the industry. Even if you lack a vocational teacher certification, you may still be considered for the position. It is important that you easily create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and industry representatives and want to contribute to inspiring and supporting adults in their learning. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and willing to try new working methods to meet students' needs.
