Welcome to the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality!

The Labor Market and Education Administration has a collective responsibility for integration, labor market, education, and employment issues affecting our municipality's residents. The administration is also responsible for the Culture School and food supply and performs tasks for the medical and psychological aspects of student health in municipal preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, secondary schools, and adapted secondary schools.

Pusslet's adapted primary school and after-school care is an operation aimed at children and youth with autism and intellectual disabilities. We offer places for students from preschool class to grade nine.

Pusslet is located in Gammelängskolan but belongs to the principal area of Prästholmsskolan. Within the principal area, there is also an adapted primary school and a primary school for ages F-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role at Pusslet includes working both in after-school care and as a resource during the school day.

In the after-school activities, you are part of the team that plans and implements educational activities and provides assistance and support to the students. You will have both openings and closings and work according to a rotating work schedule.

During the school day, you will share the responsibility of implementing education in collaboration with the class teacher and meet the students' needs for care and support throughout the school day, including during breaks, in meal situations, and during transitions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a leisure educator with experience working in adapted primary schools and after-school care.

We place great importance on your personal suitability and your experience working with disabilities. Good collaboration skills are extremely important. If you have the ability to communicate using TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Complementary Communication), it is an advantage.
