Lappland Municipal Federation is an association of the municipalities of Kiruna, Gällivare, Jokkmokk, and Pajala that collaborates in upper secondary education, adult education, energy and climate counseling, procurement, and personal representatives. The region has about 55,000 inhabitants and covers over 60,000 square kilometers. Approximately 350 employees work within the federation.

Lappland Learning Centers is the joint organization for adult education and higher education units for Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna, and Pajala. Our vision is to strive to stimulate growth and development in our municipalities by offering demand-driven education. The organization should be characterized by flexibility, collaboration, and quality. Our education should be attractive and accessible to students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The positions involve teaching students at SFI levels A-D. You will be part of a team with other SFI/language teachers where you will collaboratively develop the teaching and operations. There is ample room for creativity and new ideas. To meet our students' needs for flexible teaching, we currently offer both day and evening classes, and in the future, we may also provide distance learning options for our SFI students. Other tasks may also be included in the assignment, such as mapping and introducing students, etc. Evening teaching may be relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for a certified teacher. You should have good pedagogical skills, be flexible, and have a strong commitment to adult learning. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and pedagogical ability. If you lack formal qualifications, there is an opportunity to obtain them during working hours. Experience working with digital teaching materials and tools is an advantage. We expect you to be flexible, have a high sense of responsibility, and be easy to collaborate with others. You should be proactive, engaged, and have a positive view of people.
