Kråkbergsskolan is located in Södra Sunderbyn and is a 7-9 school that has been in existence since 1993. The school is planned, architecturally and operationally, based on an idea of meaningful learning in wholes with care for the students' all-round development. The curriculum and learning process, focusing on an investigative approach and an interaction between feeling, thought, and imagination, form the basis for how the premises, teaching teams, and working methods have been designed at the school. Motivation, desire to learn, good relationships, safety, democracy, and influence are key principles that we work with at Kråkbergsskolan. The school currently has about 215 students, and the work is organized in three teaching teams that are interdisciplinary to enable an integrated subject approach. Our school has good facilities, a pleasant environment, and a strong drive. The Luleå Resource School will also be located in the school's premises from autumn 2025.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is full-time permanent and involves 100% service at Kråkbergsskolan and Sunderbyskolan. The position entails that you:

• Participate in planning, teaching, and assessment in collaboration with colleagues.
• Are in close dialogue with the teaching team and the student health team.
• Have mentorship with daily student contact in close dialogue with the home.
• Teach modern languages, German in grades 6-9 and English in grades 7-9.
• Contribute to developing the school where broad knowledge areas, a relational approach, investigative methods, student influence, and teamwork are at the core.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified and certified teacher in German and English and have experience teaching both subjects. We also see that you are accustomed to working with ICT and various digital pedagogical tools.

You are an engaged and competent teacher who is passionate about developing young people. You can adapt, individualize, and vary your teaching and are a clear adult with social competence and empathy. You are a pronounced team player who wants to contribute to students' development through interaction and dialogue with others. You have a pedagogical drive that makes you constantly want to evaluate and develop your and the school's working methods for improved teaching and increased goal fulfillment for the students. You view students' development from a holistic perspective. You are good at creating and maintaining good relationships with students and adults. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Start date: 2025-08-13. Interviews will take place during weeks 16 and 17.
