Kråkbergsskolan is located in Södra Sunderbyn and is a grades 7-9 school that has been around since 1993. Starting in the autumn of 2025, the school will also house Luleå Resursskola. The position will involve teaching at both school units. Kråkbergsskolan is planned, architecturally and operationally, based on an idea of meaningful learning in wholeness with care for the students' all-round development. The curriculum and learning process, focusing on an investigative approach and an interaction between feeling, thought, and imagination, form the basis for how the premises, learning teams, and working methods have been designed at the school. Motivation, a desire to learn, good relationships, safety, democracy, and influence are key principles that we work with at Kråkbergsskolan. Currently, Kråkbergsskolan has about 215 students, and Luleå Resursskola will have 6 students in the autumn of 2025, increasing to 10 students in the academic year 26/27. Work at Kråkbergsskolan is organized in three learning teams that are interdisciplinary to enable an integrated subject approach. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach students in grades 7-9 in mathematics and students in grade 6 in home economics. The position means that you will independently be responsible for planning, conducting teaching, and assessment; you will have a subject colleague who teaches in grades 7-9 with whom you will collaborate. At the Resursskola, you will teach English and possibly another subject. In this role, you will have close collaboration with other teachers and student health services. The position also includes mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed subject teacher for the later years of primary school with a focus on home economics, English, and mathematics, and who has work experience in teaching these subjects. It is an advantage if you have experience in mentorship within the school. We also welcome candidates who have experience working with students in need of support and knowledge of NPF diagnoses.

To succeed in this role, you need to be independent and skilled in planning, conducting, and following up on your teaching. In the classroom, you are a good leader with a focus on achieving goals and the ability to create order and a conducive working environment. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills and are adept at creating and maintaining good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Interviews will take place during weeks 16 and 17.
