Teacher Wanted for Restaurant Program at Correctional Facility

We are looking for a teacher with good hospitality skills, who is passionate about real-world education and wants to help develop the star in every individual. We believe that everyone has dreams and visions of who they want to be and that everyone deserves a second chance. Astar is now seeking teachers who can teach the restaurant program for inmates at the correctional facility as substitutes when our teacher is on vacation or sick.
Education and Experience
We are looking for teachers/trainers who have at least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry; it is an advantage if you have worked in a correctional facility or have experience training adults.
As a teacher/trainer, you will receive an introduction to teaching, but we are also looking for someone who is used to taking their own initiatives and enjoys developing their work. You thrive on sharing your knowledge in a pedagogical way and truly believe in giving people a second chance.
A requirement for the position is to be able to present a criminal record check and be approved by the correctional service's security department.
