Västra School in Jokkmokk

Västra School in Jokkmokk is a primary school for grades F-3 with two after-school centers and an adapted primary school. Västra School has about 110 students. Our two after-school centers are Fritids Syd, where our six-year-olds go, and Fritids Glaciären, where students from grade 1 and up attend. We are now looking for a qualified after-school teacher for Västra School.

STAY-ON INSURANCE

As a newly hired, permanent employee in Jokkmokk municipality for this position, we have the opportunity to offer you, as a licensed teacher, a Stay-On Insurance if you meet the following criteria:

• You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same title.
• You are registered as a resident, or you will register as a resident in connection with the employment.
• You must not have received the municipality's scholarship for post-secondary studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the after-school program, you will plan the teaching based on LGR22 and the prioritized goal areas of the Education Committee. You have a clear responsibility to plan and conduct teaching that maintains good quality. You will work closely with other team members and guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a licensed after-school teacher. You should be able to work closely with colleagues. You place the student, their learning and development, as well as the quality of the program at the center. You should have good social collaboration skills and be flexible. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

The salary range for this position is between 30,000 - 35,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
