Västra School in Jokkmokk

Västra School is a F-3 school with two after-school centers and an adapted primary school. Västra School has about 110 students.

Västra School is looking for a qualified teacher/special teacher

Västra School is seeking a qualified teacher/special teacher to teach in a special education group.

STAY-ON INSURANCE

As a newly hired, permanent employee in Jokkmokk municipality for this position, we have the opportunity to offer you, as a licensed teacher, a Stay-on insurance if you meet the following criteria:

  • You must not have previously held a permanent position with the same title.
  • You are registered in the population register, or you will register in connection with the employment.
  • You must not have received the municipality's scholarship for post-secondary studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in a special education group, you will plan the teaching based on LGR22 and the prioritized goal areas of the Education Committee. You have a clear responsibility for ensuring that students' education is conducted in collaboration with the rest of the school and maintains a good quality. You will work closely with others in the team and with guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a licensed teacher. You should be able to work closely with colleagues and with the students' guardians. You place the student, their learning and development, and the quality of the operation at the center. You should have good social collaboration skills and be flexible. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
