Ringelskolan is a middle school in central Arvidsjaur that accommodates grades 4-6 as well as adapted primary school. The school is close to a swimming pool, sports hall, and ice rink, and is within walking distance to the community. The school is beautifully situated and invites outdoor activities.

We are now looking for a teacher in home economics and art starting from the autumn term of 2025. As a teacher in home economics, you will teach Ringelskolan's students in grade 6. The teaching in home economics is spread over two days a week. During the rest of the time, you will teach art and work as a resource teacher and/or substitute as a class teacher during short-term absences.

You will conduct structured teaching based on current governing documents, follow up and analyze your teaching and students' results. You are a clear leader in the classroom and dare to try new ways to constantly strive to improve your teaching. You work with high expectations and see good relationships with students and guardians as a natural part of your work. In collaboration with colleagues, you create good learning environments based on clear and low-arousal leadership.

Qualifications: You who apply are a certified teacher in home economics for the specified grades. You have a positive outlook and believe in each individual's desire to develop and learn. You are unpretentious and solution-focused and understand the benefits of working in a team and learning together. You collaborate with the school's student health team and have a good ability to create relationships with students, parents, and your colleagues. You are flexible and have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented.

Upon employment, you are required to present a criminal record extract according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap 31§).
