Ringelskolan is a middle school in central Arvidsjaur that accommodates grades 4-6 as well as adapted primary school. The school is close to a swimming pool, sports hall, and ice rink, and is within walking distance to the community. The school is located in a scenic area and thus invites outdoor activities.

We are now looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts starting in the autumn term of 2025. As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will teach students in grades 3-6 from two school units in Arvidsjaur Municipality; Tallbackaskolan and Ringelskolan. The work also includes teaching in adapted primary school. All students are taught in Ringelskolan's craft room.

You will conduct structured teaching based on applicable governing documents, follow up and analyze your teaching and students' results. You are a clear leader in the classroom and dare to try new ways to constantly strive to improve your teaching. You work with high expectations and see good relationships with students and guardians as a natural part of your work. In collaboration with colleagues, you create good learning environments based on clear and low-arousal leadership.

Qualifications: You who apply are a licensed teacher in wood and metal crafts for the specified grades. You have a positive outlook and believe in each individual's desire to develop and learn. You are unpretentious and solution-focused and understand the benefits of working in a team and learning together. You collaborate with the school's student health team and have a good ability to create relationships with students, parents, and your colleagues. You are flexible and have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented.

Upon employment, you are required to present a certificate from the criminal record register according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap. 31§).
