Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the northern lights and midnight sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. You will work at Gårdbyskolan in Korpilombolo, Pajala Municipality. The school is a small F-9 school with 80-90 students. Teachers are part of a work team and each stage forms teams for collaboration with colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The teacher's assignment is primarily governed by the Education Act, Curriculum, and Work Environment Act. The principal leads and distributes the work in the organization. Examples of job responsibilities include, in addition to planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching, also mentorship, collegial collaboration, external collaboration, collegial and individual development work, collaboration with guardians, reporting to the principal, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

For permanent employment, a teaching license in the requested subjects is required. If this cannot be fulfilled, employment for a limited time may be relevant. A criminal record extract from the police must be presented during the recruitment process.
