Örnässkolan is a K-9 school located centrally in the Örnäset residential area. Approximately 500 students attend the school. Within the school's area, we have our modern sports hall and a multi-arena. Örnässkolan is characterized by diversity and an environment based on safety, respect, and tolerance. Through our lead teachers, we have a conscious focus on teaching language development strategies in all subjects and the development of mathematics education. We place great emphasis on accessible learning environments.
In the after-school program, we focus on health and movement, study and career guidance in a broad sense, and language development strategies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Örnässkolan, the assignment within the after-school program is highly prioritized. We allocate extra planning time for teachers in the after-school program to continuously improve quality with the students' best interests in focus.

You will collaborate with your ambitious team regarding the planning and implementation of the teaching in the after-school program. The focus of the position is to conduct after-school program development, to work to stimulate students' development and learning, to offer them a meaningful leisure time, and to promote diverse contacts and social community. Supervising during breaks is part of the assignment, as it concerns the students' leisure time.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license, specifically for the after-school program, and suitable education.

We see that you have a drive to develop in your profession and have the ability to take initiative and see opportunities. You are good at collaborating with others, and a good attitude is important to you. You focus on the students and have clear leadership. We place great importance on personal suitability.
No experience is required.

Employment is ongoing.
The position is full-time (100%).
Start date: Autumn term 2025.
