Job Advertisement: Teacher for Tärendö Centralskola

Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. The position is in Pajala Municipality, stationed at Tärendö Centralskola. The school is a small F-6 school with about 25-30 students distributed in b- and c-forms. The work team consists of three teachers and one teacher in the after-school program. In some years, the staff group is also expanded with a teaching assistant.

The school is located close to nature, allowing for outdoor teaching year-round without the need for transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The teacher's assignment is primarily governed by the Education Act and the Curriculum for Compulsory School
• The principal leads and distributes tasks
• Reporting to the principal
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching
• Teaching also includes light crafts
• Systematic quality work focusing on your own teaching
• Collaboration with colleagues
• Collaboration with guardians
• Mentorship
• Collaboration with other functions such as Social Services and Police
• Monitoring the environment and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant teacher education and teaching certification
• If the above requirements are not met, employment for a limited time may be considered
