Warm welcome to apply for a position at our fantastic school! We are currently a staff of about 130 people with a common goal to be the best school for our students.

The school management consists of a principal, three deputy principals, and an administrative manager. The student health team consists of school leaders, special educators, counselors, school nurses, and school psychologists. Kämpetorpsskolan is located in the heart of Älvsjö and currently has about 950 students in grades F-9. The school has been newly renovated and expanded with, among other things, laboratories for experimental teaching in science and technology. In addition to newly built school facilities, we have a beautiful schoolyard and access to the newly built Kämpetorpshallarna with an adjacent artificial grass field for our physical education classes.

Job Description

We are looking for an engaged qualified teacher in Social Studies and Physical Education with the students' best interests in mind. The position is a parental substitute for the school year 25/26 with teaching in grades 7-9.

You will be responsible for the implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the classes you teach. You will belong to a workgroup where you have part of your teaching and where you together take responsibility for and develop the work with the classes. Mentorship may be included. There are more teachers in Physical Education and Social Studies at the school. You plan your teaching together and assess jointly.

You have good collaboration skills and are prepared to develop your work and thus the school's activities in collaboration with colleagues. You can capture and deepen students' interest in your subjects, have a strong commitment to students' knowledge development, and see opportunities for progression. A friendly and professional approach to students, staff, and parents is of utmost importance. You have an inclusive perspective.

Qualifications

You have experience teaching Physical Education and Social Studies and have a teaching license with qualifications up to grade 9 in one or more of these subjects. You have experience in teaching and mentorship in primary school.
