About the Unit and Staff

The System Management Unit (SFE) manages and develops the Armed Forces' IT systems. Our main mission is to ensure the operation of the systems and that their information is secure, accurate, and accessible, thereby contributing to the Armed Forces' operational capability.

The staff at the System Management Unit consists of staff functions in areas such as administration, security, production coordination, finance, work environment, logistics, HR, and training activities. We operate according to the Security Protection Act, the Security Ordinance, and the Armed Forces' regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

As an administrator at the System Management Unit, you will provide important support to both employees and managers. No day is the same, and the position is very varied over time.

Examples of Tasks:

  • Administration at the start/end of personnel
  • Error reporting
  • Work environment activities
  • Alarm and access administration
  • Order maintenance of writing rooms/storage
  • Administrative support to the manager
  • Quality coordination
  • Phone management
  • Certificate handling/card administration
  • Supplementary orders
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Prepare and handle other incoming tasks for the System Management Unit within the scope of the staff's operational area

Qualifications:

  • Relevant high school education with an administrative focus or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer
  • Experience in administrative work within the Armed Forces, another government agency, or a larger organization.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Driving license category B.

Meritorious:

  • Experience with the Armed Forces' systems such as SharePoint, PRIO, Vidar, etc.
  • Experience in work environment activities.
  • Experience in security service and/or signal protection service.
  • Basic military training.

Personal Qualities

To fit into the role of administrator, you need to be an experienced administrator with a sense of order and organization. We are looking for someone who can work both independently and in a team. You can plan your work, see what needs to be prioritized, and take responsibility for driving the process to completion. It is very important that you have a positive demeanor, are social, driven, flexible, and service-minded. The position requires a high level of security awareness and personal integrity. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Work location: Enköping.

Start date: as soon as possible or by agreement.

Employment type: Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
