Registrars Wanted at the Air Staff

About the Unit
Within the Air Force, approximately 5,100 employees work, of which about 350 are at the Air Staff. The Air Staff has an office in Uppsala, where large amounts of incoming and outgoing documents pass every day. In this recruitment, we are looking for two registrars for service in the office.
Main Responsibilities
In your role as a registrar, you will work with the registration and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents and also staff our internal reception desk where you provide support and service to the Swedish Armed Forces' administrators in document management issues. You will help ensure that our processes comply with applicable laws and regulations, and that sensitive information is handled correctly. You are expected to participate in the development of routines and processes related to document management and will also handle inquiries from the public as well as work with other tasks occurring in the department. Occasionally, the office participates in the framework of the Swedish Armed Forces' training activities, which may mean that you work outside normal office hours for limited periods.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a registrar or in administration, or possess other experience that the employer considers equivalent
- Very good computer skills
- High school education with passing grades
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Driving license B
Meritorious
- Experience of similar tasks, especially within the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency

You actively contribute to good cooperation and a positive atmosphere in the team. In your role, you will handle information that requires high integrity and a security-conscious working method even during periods of high workload and tight deadlines. Employment form: Civil permanent employment. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period for applicants who are not currently employed within the Swedish Armed Forces.

The primary and largest task of the Air Staff is to support the Air Force Chief's leadership of all squadrons and schools in the Air Force at all levels of the conflict scale. The Air Staff develops, plans, implements, and evaluates orders and directives issued by the Air Force Chief. The Air Staff consists of about 350 employees. The Air Force organizes and trains air, base, and command units and has the task of monitoring and protecting Sweden's airspace. This is a mission that continues around the clock, year-round, to ensure Sweden's integrity. Approximately 5,100 employees, both civilian and military, work within the Air Force.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
