Do you want to drive the digitalization of forestry and create more precise and efficient management of forest resources? Become our specialist in harvesting control and data-driven optimization!
We are looking for an engaged and analytical specialist who wants to contribute to the development of harvesting control and monitoring to maximize timber value and resource efficiency in the forestry sector.
With us, you will work in an innovative environment where research and practical application go hand in hand. You will be part of a team that develops new methods for data-driven optimization of forestry and contributes to creating a seamless integration between forest and industry. Through standardization and improved data usage, you will be a key player in the work to develop digital traceability and optimize the value chain from forest to final product.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a forestry and/or technical background and a strong interest in how forest raw materials can be matched with the right end product for increased profitability and sustainability. You have a good understanding of the digitalization of forestry and how data from forestry machines and other sources can be used to improve processes and create higher value throughout the forestry value chain.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Are analytical and solution-oriented
- Can communicate clearly in both speech and writing
- Can work independently as well as in a team
- Have experience with harvesting data and monitoring work, for example through logging simulation or timber value analysis
- A PhD is an advantage but not a requirement
