Our Operations

Healthcare Administrative Service (VAS) is a hospital-wide organization where medical secretaries, administrators, and receptionists provide healthcare administrative support to all departments within the hospital. This means that you will become an important part of the care chain at one of Sweden's largest university hospitals with high competence, specialized healthcare, options, and an enormous breadth.

Your Mission

As a receptionist within VAS, your tasks are varied. Your main mission includes meeting the hospital's patients, visitors, and staff. Therefore, you are driven by providing good service and working with people. You have good communication skills and an understanding of the needs of patients, relatives, and others who visit our information desks. In this role, a professional and empathetic approach is central.

Your tasks involve daily encounters with our patients and other visitors at our information desks; you are the face of the hospital. The assignment is broad, and you will handle everything from service to patients and relatives, telephone service, conference bookings, administration, to inquiries of all kinds, urgent and non-urgent. Thus, the tasks are varied and stimulating, and you will broaden your competence by supporting colleagues in more information desks or receptions at the hospital.

Your Qualifications

You who are applying preferably have an education in reception and service or equivalent. We see that you have previous experience working in a service-oriented role with several different contact points. You have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and you also have good knowledge of spoken English. We would like you to have very good computer skills and experience with Office 365.

Your Competence

You are a calm and stable person in pressured situations and have the ability to quickly adapt. You are attentive and accommodating in your approach. You have a very well-developed sense of service. You have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others and make a careful effort to deliver solutions. You need to have the ability to see opportunities in changes and be driven by working with continuous development and improvement of the operations you work in. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently and efficiently.

We Offer

We offer a full-time temporary position lasting until 2025-10-31 with a possible extension. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
