Scania Sweden AB is a company within the Scania Group and distributor of Scania's products and services in the Swedish market. Scania Sweden is responsible for a wide range of products and services, including sales and service through a dealer network with about 90 Scania facilities and 2,000 employees, of which nearly 1,000 are in the company's own dealership operations in the metropolitan regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, as well as in Gävleborg, Dalarna, Södermanland, and Västmanland. The head office is located in Stockholm, Kungens Kurva. In 2024, Scania Sweden registered 2,554 heavy vehicles, achieving a market share of 48.8%, the highest figure in modern times.

About the role

Are you passionate about vehicles and five-star service? Are you ready to take on a dealer's most important role? Are you the service advisor of the future? Here is your opportunity to take on a role in an industry with exciting development. You will be the face of the dealer and represent the company with your friendly demeanor and knowledge. We are now looking for a new team member for our workshop in Uppsala.

Your responsibilities

As a member of our service team, you will play a key role in the relationship between our customers and the workshop. You will have a broad and varied job with significant responsibility and many points of contact. Our customers are the most important to us, which is why we see this role as central to our organization. It is important that all customer interactions are conducted in a friendly, professional, service-oriented, and helpful manner.

Focusing on the customer, understanding and transforming their needs into value-creating solutions, and maintaining a positive brand image are important aspects of the role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to identifying potential customers and creating sales opportunities where Scania can provide value to the customer and be profitable. Your tasks will include receiving our customers over the counter and by phone for service advice and booking repairs. Daily administration, such as invoicing, is also part of the job.

As a member of the service team, it is natural for you to assist your colleagues within the team with, among other things, parts flow and administration, both within the workshop and parts.

Who are you

You have at least a high school education or equivalent work experience with an interest in vehicles and providing service. We value prior experience in service work and prefer candidates with experience from the automotive or transport industry.

If you have good knowledge of workshop and parts management, that is highly meritorious. Computer skills are required as the work in many aspects requires a good understanding of systems.

You are service-oriented, business-minded, and possess good communication skills in both spoken and written form. You have an open attitude and treat customers, colleagues, and others with respect. Order and tidiness are obvious to you as you are used to delivering results. You also know that your positive attitude can resolve tricky situations when focusing on the customer.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and value collaboration with your colleagues. You contribute with a good mood and a strong work ethic, and your contributions with good ideas in our improvement work are welcomed. You speak and write fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.

Who are we

We are a team of friendly and skilled colleagues in the workshop, parts, and sales. Together, we help each other grow with the task and develop both in our careers and as individuals.

Scania offers

Benefits include wellness grants and the opportunity for a company car. We have a benefits portal with discounted prices on products and services, Scania's Employee Support, salary exchange, as well as favorable occupational pension and insurance. With a structured development plan and courses, Scania supports your personal development, and career opportunities exist both locally and globally. If you want to develop with us, all paths are open to you!

Application

Your application should include a CV and diploma. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity in our recruitment processes. Apply as soon as possible, no later than April 13, 2025. Selection is ongoing during the application period. Logic and personality tests may be used in our selection process, and a background check may need to be conducted for this position.
