Enskede School is a F-9 school with about 920 students.

At Enskede School, students thrive, as seen in their responses regarding safety and well-being, employee surveys, and a low staff turnover. We have a very high percentage of qualified staff and a competent student health team with all professions represented.

We are a school that works for an accessible learning environment and focuses on the well-being of students so that we can best meet all students' right to a good education. We strive for our students to be able to benefit from teaching in the classroom with the help of general adaptations and varied instruction. Our operations should be characterized by structure, clarity, and recognition. At Enskede School, all students have a home classroom, and we apply a mobile-free school day.

The school is nicely located in Gamla Enskede with good communications, close to the subway stations Sandsborg and Sockenplan, as well as buses.

For the school year 2026/27, Enskede School's upper secondary will move to a new primary school, Betty Pettersson's School, which is also located in Enskede near Sockenplan.

Your role

We are looking for you who want to become a teacher at Enskede School and be responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing in NO/TK grades 6-9, with the majority of teaching time in the upper secondary. Shared mentorship for a class in upper secondary may be included, currently in grade 9. You will be part of a work team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge. Together we create the best conditions for our students.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in two or more NO subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) in grades 6-9. Qualification in Technology and/or Mathematics is an advantage.

• You should be well acquainted with the school's governing documents and mission.
• You should be a safe and clear leader who creates a good working climate.
• You involve the student in planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.
• You are used to working with digital tools as a natural part of teaching.

You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are curious to learn new things and share your experiences with colleagues. You plan, organize, and prioritize your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
