Mathematics and Science Teacher Wanted at JENSEN Gymnasium Haninge

Starting in the autumn term of 2025, the brand new JENSEN Gymnasium Haninge will open. The school is a nature management gymnasium focusing on horse management. In the first academic year, we will welcome one class and then expand by one class each year, totaling three classes at the school. We will offer three specializations: Young Horses; Society, Sports Profile, LIU.

The school, currently under construction, will be located in southern Tungelsta, beautifully situated in the meadows with plenty of land and excellent riding paths available. It will feature a school building with an attached riding hall and stables. The school will have fine architecture and new facilities where students will have the opportunity to develop both in horse knowledge and riding as well as in academic subjects.

What We Are Looking For

For the autumn term of 2025, we are looking for a full-time mathematics and science teacher (NO). The position will be a combined role with mathematics competence aimed at the middle school level. The position will be split between JENSEN Grundskola Tungelsta and JENSEN Gymnasium Haninge. We are seeking a star teacher in mathematics, ideally qualified to teach grades 7-9 in middle school as well as at the high school level. At the middle school, the position will involve teaching mathematics, natural science, and biology, and at the high school level, mathematics.

The schools will have the same principal and the same student health team, which creates good opportunities for joint assessment and exchange of experiences in the subjects.

Qualifications

We primarily seek you who are a qualified high school teacher in mathematics and science. You are highly knowledgeable in your subjects and driven by a desire to teach them to others. Employment Type

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in August. For this position, we apply a holiday service and a six-month probationary period.
