The Oxback unit consists of two municipal schools, Oxback School (F-3) and Mariekäll School (4-9). Both schools are centrally located in Södertälje municipality and have a high demand for enrollment. Currently, we have about 800 students and 85 employees. We are a multicultural school and continuously work to develop and improve our methods to meet all students' needs.
Learning and safety are our focus, and we regularly work with tracking results and attendance for all students, where you as a teacher play a central role. We have an active student health team at the school that supports both students and staff in their daily work. The school's core values are based on a culture of responsibility where it is important that everyone participates in defining needs and collectively prioritizes according to the resources available.

Your responsibilities

You will belong to the 4-6 work team at Mariekäll School, where you will teach physical education and health, woodwork, and metalwork, as well as provide support as needed in the school's special education group for grades 4-9. At the school, we work to make education accessible for all students, based on a common lesson structure and language and knowledge-developing methods (SOKA). Together with the school management and engaged educators in both the work team and the student health team, we collaborate for all students' right to learning, safety, and development. As a teacher with us, you are prepared to try and reconsider your teaching, both individually and together with the work team to reach all students. You actively participate in our collegial learning meetings (KLM) based on the needs of the organization.

Who are you?

- You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license
- You are clear and confident in your leadership and maintain good relationships with both students and guardians as well as staff
- You base your teaching on students' strengths and believe that everyone can succeed with the right support
- You plan your teaching based on all students' different needs and conditions

Personal qualities:
- You are structured and responsible
- You are unpretentious and view working with students as a team effort where everyone has an important role
- We welcome applicants with several years of experience in the school system, but newly graduated teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
- You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license
- You are well acquainted with the governing documents and the school as an organization

Meritorious:
- You have good knowledge of NPF and language and knowledge-developing methods.
